Happy New Year!

Well 2009 is finally here, and I have to say that 2008 was a crazy year, so we are looking forward to a fun 2009!

We have lots of photos from Christmas time, and I will post them as soon as I can find my camera usb cord...

Henry had a great Christmas (we did too, but we have been told he is more important :) We spent Christmas Eve here at our house in Aurora. We made dinner as we do every year and were so happy to have my parents, GG and Aunt Jayme here to celebrate. Henry ended up with lots of loot, including a Tonka truck that he can walk behind from his Uncle Tyler. It was a fun night!

We spent Christmas morning with Grandpa and Nana Purvis, and again, Henry made out like a bandit! He got a new shopping cart, a radio flyer car (which he just LOVES) and tons of other toys. Our house is becoming over run with Henry toys, and we know that it will only just get worse from here on out. We are working on getting a playroom set up in our extra bedroom so that we can contain the mess a little!

We saw Grandpa and Grandma George the weekend after Christmas and it was fun for Henry to hang out up there. He got a new radio flyer wagon, which he likes because when he bangs things on it, it makes lots of noise. We can't wait for summer so he can use it lots!

We spent New Years at home with our little one, Bryan and I aren't big fans of New Years, so it was nice to stay home, make a nice dinner and watch a movie. I don't think we even came close to seeing the ball drop!

We had a great weekend following the New Year- Bryan and I were able to spend some time out ALONE (it feels weird...) and we went to lunch and a movie (the first one since January of 2008!) and enjoyed some real adult conversation (even if most of it was about Henry and family!)

Our 2009 is already shaping up to be a busy one.... we have weddings in March, September and December, Bryan will be travelling to Chicago in April for a couple days to draft his fantasy Baseball team and we hope to get in at least one trip sans baby before the summer.

We hope you all had a great holiday season and a great 2009!
